ARRANGING THE FUNERAL OF A LOVED ONE

The loss of a loved one can be a very traumatic experience and we at
Pat O’Sullivan & Sons Funeral Directors are here to help you with those difficult decisions of funeral arrangement when death occurs.

We take care of ALL aspects of funeral arrangement and would be privileged to prepare and coordinate the funeral of your passing loved one as we have for many bereaved families over the years.

We meet with the family of the deceased in our office, or alternatively we can call to any place of the family’s choosing to discuss the funeral arrangement options. Funerals can be arranged from our Funeral Homes or any location desired by the family. We also specialise in preparing Funerals in the Family Home.

Having received permission by the family and the doctor or hospital, the body is removed from the place of death to the Funeral Home to be embalmed and prepared by our Fully Qualified Embalmer.

We as second generation Professional Funeral Directors with over 45 years of experience have an abundance of expertise in arranging and handling all aspects of a funeral. We understand that families experience the death of a loved one a few times in their lives. It is our primary concern to ease the burdens of planning when death occurs. We honour the wishes and requests of both the family and the deceased in a very personalised funeral.

Repatriation

We also provide a full service of Repatriation for families wishing to bring a deceased family member back to Ireland or Repatriate back to country of Origin.

HOW TO BEGIN A FUNERAL ARRANGEMENT

A simple phone call to your doctor who certifies the passing of the deceased which in turn gives the Funeral Director permission to remove the body to the Funeral Home for embalming and preparation for the funeral.
